initial operation of your ap-
pliance. Retain the instructions for use for fu-
ture reference or for subsequent
possessors.
Proper Use
The appliance is intended for use as a wet
and dry vacuum cleaner corresponding to
the descriptions given in these operating in-
structions and the safety notes.
– You use this appliance only in the private
area, such as in the household, in the
hobby workshop or in your car.
– Please use this appliance only with ac-
cessories and spare parts approved by
Kärcher.
Any use extending beyond this is not consi-
dered as proper use. The manufacturer is
not liable for any losses resulting from this;
the user alone bears the risk for this.

Safety notes

Allow children and young persons to use the
appliance only under supervision.
Never leave the appliance unattended as
long as the main switch is switched on.
Electrical connection
The voltage indicated on the type plate must
correspond to the supply voltage.
Risk of electric shock
Never touch the mains plug with moist
hands.
Check the power cord with mains plug for
damage before every use. If the power cord
is damaged, please arrange immediately for
the exchange by an authorized customer
service or a skilled electrician.
In wet rooms, e.g. in the bathroom, connect
the appliance only to sockets with series
connected RCD adapter. In the case of
doubt ask an electrician for advice.

Danger of explosion
Never vacuum up explosive liquids, combu-
stible gases, explosive dusts as well as un-
diluted acids and solvents!
! These include benzene, paint thinner,
acetone, heating oil, undiluted acids and
solvents, aluminium and magnesium
dust.
! These may produce explosive vapours
or mixtures when agitated by the suction
air.
! In addition, these substances may cause
the appliance materials to corrode.
Do not vacuum up any burning or glowing
objects.
It is not allowed to use the appliance in ha-
zardous locations.

Environmental protection

The packaging materials are re-
cyclable. Please do not throw
packaging in the domestic waste
but pass it on for recycling.
Old units contain valuable re-
cyclable materials. Batteries, oil
and similar substances may not
be released into the environment.
Therefore please dispose of old
units through suitable collection
systems.
