Sicherheitsmaßnahmen beim
Einsatz des Gerätes
Der Anwender hat sich vor der Anwendung des
Ge rätes von der Funktionssicherheit und dem
ordnungs gemäßen Zustand des Gerätes zu
überzeugen.
Dieses Gerät wurde geprüft und entspricht
den EMV-Grenzwerten gemäß dem
Medizinproduktegesetz 93/42/EWG (EN 55011
Class B und IEC 60601-1-2).
Beachten Sie die Hinweise zur Elektromag neti-
schen Verträglichkeit im Kapitel 11.

Sicherheitseinrichtungen
Der S-PILOT™ verfügt über folgende
Sicherheitseinrichtungen:
6. 8. 1 Selbsttest
Die Selbstprüfung wird bei jedem Einschalten des
Geräts durchgeführt. Fällt der Test negativ aus,
wird dies durch Blinken der Status-LED und einen
Alarmton angezeigt.
Der bestimmungsgemäße Gebrauch ist nicht mehr
möglich.
Folgende Komponente wird geprüft:
• Funktionsfähigkeit des Schlauchquetschventils
6. 8. 2 Motorstromüberwachung
Die Steuerung des Motorantriebs des S-PILOT™
Schlauchquetschventils enthält eine Temperatur-
und Stromüberwachung, die bei Überhitzung und/
oder Überlast den Motor abschaltet.

HINWEIS: Bei Vorliegen eines temporären
Fehlers kann dieser möglicherweise durch
Betätigen des Fronttasters 2 zurückgesetzt
werden.

Safety precautions when
operating the device
It is the user's responsibility to make sure the
equipment is safe and operates properly before
use.
This device has been tested and found to
comply with the EMC limits of the Medical Device
Directive 93/42/EEC (EN 55011 Class B and
IEC 60601-1-2).
Please observe the Electromagnetic Compatibility
information in section 11.

Safety features
The S-PILOT™ has the following safety features:
6. 8. 1 Self-test
A self-check procedure is performed each time the
device is switched on. If the test is negative, this is
indicated by the blinking of the status LED and an
acoustic alarm.
Its intended use is no longer possible.
The following components have been tested:
• Functionality of the tube squeeze valve
6. 8. 2 Motor current monitoring
The control of the motor drive of the S-PILOT™
tube squeeze valve contains a temperature and
current monitor which switches off when the
motor is overheated or overloaded.

Medidas de seguridad durante
el empleo del equipo
El usuario ha de cerciorarse de la seguridad de
funcionamiento y el buen estado del equipo antes
de cada aplicación del aparato.
Este equipo ha sido probado y cumple con los
valores límites CEM según las especificaciones
de la Directiva 93/42/CEE (EN 55011 Clase B y
CEI 60601-1-2) para Equipo Médico.
Observe las indicaciones referidas a compatibilidad
electromagnética contenidas en el capítulo 11.

Dispositivos de seguridad
La válvula S-PILOT™ dispone de los siguientes
dispositivos de seguridad:
6. 8. 1 Prueba automática
El test de funcionamiento se efectúa automática-
mente cada vez que se conecta el aparato. Si el
resultado del test es negativo, el diodo luminoso
de estado se enciende intermitente y se emite una
alarma acústica.
En ese caso ya no es posible utilizar el aparato de
la forma prevista.
Se comprueban los siguientes componentes:
• Operatividad de la válvula de compresión para
tubo flexible
6. 8. 2 Monitorización de la corriente
del motor
El control del accionamiento del motor de la vál-
vula de compresión para tubo flexible S-PILOT™
incluye una monitorización de la temperatura y de
la corriente, que desconecta el motor en caso de
sobrecalentamiento y/o sobrecarga.

del frente 2.
