Allgemeines
Bei der automatischen Unterstützung kann
zwischen zwei Fällen unterschieden werden:
• Das verwendete unterstützte HF-Gerät ist im
OR1™ System integriert.
Dann reicht für die Verbindung S-PILOT™ –
HF-Gerät aus, das S-PILOT™ in das OR1™-
System (via SCB) einzubinden.*
• Der S-PILOT™ und das unterstützte HF-Gerät
(+ Zubehör) sollen als unabhängige Lösung
eingesetzt werden.
In diesem Fall die folgende Tabelle beachten.

Beim Einsatz des HF-Chirurgiegerätes werden
Rauchgase erzeugt. Sind der S-PILOT™ und
das HF-Chirurgiegerät über die SCB-Schnittstelle
verbunden, wird das Schlauchquetschventil
des S-PILOT™ automatisch bei Betätigung
des HF-Chirurgieinstruments geöffnet, so dass
Rauchgas abgesaugt wird und der Operateur
gute Sicht auf den Operationsort hat. Sobald das
HF-Signal am Schlauchquetschventil nicht mehr
anliegt, schließt sich nach einer Verzögerungszeit
von 3 Sekunden das Ventil wieder.
General information
With automatic support, a difference is made
between two cases:
• The supported HF device which is used is
integrated in the OR1™ system.
It is then sufficient for the connection S-PILOT™
– HF device that the S-PILOT™ is integrated
into the OR1™ system (via SCB).*
• The S-PILOT™ and the supported HF
device (+ accessories) are to be used as an
independent solution.

Smoke gas is produced when operating the
surgical unit. If the S-PILOT™ and the HF surgical
unit are connected via the SCB interface, the tube
squeeze valve on the S-PILOT™ is automatically
opened when the HF surgical unit is activated
so that smoke gas is suctioned away and the
surgeon has an excellent view of the operation
site. As soon as the HF signal on the tube
squeeze valve stops, the valve closes again after a
time delay of 3 seconds.
Generalidades
En cuanto a la compatibilidad automática, puede
diferenciarse entre dos casos:
• El aparato de AF compatible utilizado está
integrado en el sistema OR1™.
En este caso, para conectar la válvula S-PILOT™
y el aparato de AF basta con integrar la
S-PILOT™ en el sistema OR1™ (vía SCB).*
• La S-PILOT™ y el aparato de AF compatible
(más accesorios) deben emplearse como una
solución independiente.

**Adicionalmente, es necesario el "set
KARL STORZ-SCB Interface control"
Si se utiliza un aparato quirúrgico de AF se forman
gases de combustión. Si la válvula S-PILOT™ y el
aparato quirúrgico de AF están conectados a tra-
vés de la interfaz SCB, la válvula S-PILOT™ se
abre automáticamente al accionar el instrumento
quirúrgico de AF, de modo que el gas de combus-
tión es aspirado y el cirujano obtiene una buena
visibilidad sobre el campo operatorio. En cuanto se
detiene la señal de AF en la válvula de compresión
para tubo flexible, dicha válvula vuelve a cerrarse
después de un período de retardo de 3 segundos.
