If this setting is enabled, a video is recorded
permanently and written to the micro SD card in
one-minute sequences and then stored in the
>DRIVING< folder.
Thanks to an internal storage module, the
recording starts on the SD card 10 seconds
before the G-sensor is triggered and for a total of
1 minute.
Please check at regular intervals whether
permanent media recording in driving
mode is permitted in the country in which
you are located.

Parking mode

The ACE 2.0 automatically switches to parking
mode when the car's ignition is switched off.
The area in front of and behind the car can be
monitored by the radar and G-sensors.
In the default settings, both the G-sensor
and the radar sensor are disabled.
Monitoring using the radar and G-sensors must
be enabled manually in the ACE 2.0 app in
"Settings" > "Recording Settings".
Please check at regular intervals whether
monitoring using radar technology in park
mode is permitted in the country in which
you are located.
If a vibration is detected by the car or a
movement detected by the radar sensor (if these
functions have been enabled), a 20-second
sequence will be recorded and the cameras'
security LEDs will start a defined light sequence
(the front camera is lit and flashes, the rear
window camera is lit). If G-sensor events have
taken place, the next time the engine is started
an acoustic announcement will be made "Events
saved in parking mode". The videos are then
saved in the >PARKING< folder on the micro SD
card.

To ensure that system-related vibrations in
parking mode was getting in and out of the car
or during the loading and unloading phase of
the car are not classed as relevant G-sensor
events, an initial and final time of 2 or 3 minutes
takes place at the "Ignition on" time. G-sensor
events which take place during these periods do
not trigger the announcement "Events saved in
parking mode". They will still be saved to the SD
card and displayed on the start page of the ACE
2.0 app.
The device monitors its own power requirement
in parking mode. After it has consumed a
defined quantity of power, the radar system is
disabled and the car will only be monitored by
the G-sensor. The G-sensor monitoring will also
be disabled after a further defined quantity of
power has been consumed, thus shutting down
the cameras. This prevents the car's battery
becoming drained so that the car can still be
started.

car's owner's manual.
Manual recording of videos and
photos
It is also possible to record videos and photos
manually.
Pressing the Power key briefly or using the
ACE 2.0 app (see section
start the manual recording of a one-minute video
or a photo when the ACE 2.0 is in driving mode
(this can be stopped prematurely by pressing the
Power key).
Thanks to an internal memory module, the
manual video recording starts on the SD card 10
seconds before the triggering time.
The media format for recording must be selected
manually in the ACE 2.0 app in "Settings" >
