B. install rmC assembly
1.
attach the rmC components to the
Din rail
The RMC-BASE comes assembled.
Disassemble the various modules
before attaching to DIN rail.
Leave space on the left side of the DIN
rail for the network connection module
and power supply.
Clip the Network Processor to the DIN
rail at the desired location. Press down
on the orange locking tab to secure the
module.
Next, add each module in exactly the
following order. Slide the modules into
place and ensure they snap on to the
DIN rail.
order of module assembly from left to
right:

Warning: Modules and/or external
equipment may be damaged if modules are
not installed in the correct sequence.
note: To remove a module, pull up on the
orange release tab until the module releases
from the DIN rail.

attach the rs-485 network connection
module to the Din rail.
Locate the module to the left side of the
Network Processor. Press the module
down onto the DIN rail to lock it in
place.
Connect the supplied ribbon cable
between the Network Processor and
the RS-485 connection module.
Use the screws provided to secure the
ribbon cable connectors.
3.
mount the power supply.
If a local power supply is used, such
as the RMC-PS24, mount it on the DIN
rail to the left of the RS-485 network
connection module.
Mount the ground (earth) terminal
block next to the power supply.
