a. mount Din rail
The RMC modules installs on a DIN 35 rail in the
electrical enclosure or panel.

select a location for installation.
The RMC assembly is ideally installed in
the same panel or enclosure as the power
contactors switching the heating cable circuits.
The RMC assembly is powered with 24 Vdc
and switches contactor coils powered with line
voltage. Select an electrical panel or enclosure
considering the area classification (i.e., non-
hazardous or hazardous), the location (indoors
or outdoors, exposure to moisture and/or dust),
and the chemical environment.
If ambient temperatures below freezing are
expected, install the RMC unit in a heated
location or use an enclosure heater. If moisture
is expected, install a drain in the enclosure.

size and install Din rail.
Use DIN 35 rail. The rail should be long enough
for the RMC assembly, the 24 Vdc power supply
(if placed local to the RMC assembly), end stops,
and any other items desired (such as terminal
blocks, fuse holders, etc.) The width of the RMC
assembly is determined based on the number of
RMC-2RO relay modules used.
