Installation instruction

The LED Indicating Panels should be mounted in a well visible location.
•
The fire alarm panel may only be installed in a dry, clean room with controlled access and
appropriate lighting. The environmental conditions must comply with DIN EN 60721-3-3,
class 3k5.
•
For wall mounting, a height of 800 mm to 1800 mm above the floor is recommended.
•
The LED Indicating Panel must be installed free of any mechanical stress on a flat
surface using appropriate mounting accessories (screws and dowels).
•
Keep the indicating panel away from strong electric/electromagnetic fields, e.g.
fluorescent lighting installations and energy cabling as well as installation on instable,
vibrating surfaces, e.g. thin partition walls.

Installation

1. Remove cover and housing front
2. Mark the four fastening points, drill holes into mounting surface, and insert dowels.
3. Mount the back box of the housing and insert the connection cable
4. Connect cables (Wiring refer to Chapter 8)
5. All voltage and signal lines must be secured to prevent slipping by using a suitable
attachment materials such as plastic cable binders.
Take care to ensure that no cables are pinched or damaged.
6. Close the housing and secure it with the supplied screws supplied to prevent unauthorised
opening
7. Remove the labelling strips from the film pockets and use a water-resistant pen (e.g. film
labelling pen) to label them as required
8. Fit the cover
