The stainless steel version of the

FCT01-X from Sartorius is an
intrinsically safe display and control

terminal approved for use in Category

2 and 3 hazardous areas/locations
as defined in Directive 94/9/EU

(Zones 1 and 2 as defined in DIN

EN60079-14, VDE 0165 Part 1).
It is equipped with a built-in analog/

digital converter for connecting

standard, commercially available
strain-gauge load cells and analog

weighing platforms, such as the IWA,

IU and IF Series platforms from
Sartorius. When choosing load cells
for use with your FCT01-X terminal,
make sure you observe the limits listed
in the EC type-approval certificate for
the terminal (included in this manual).
It is particularly important to determine
the temperature class of resistors in
load cells. Furthermore, Item 5.4 of
the EN50020 standard must be
strictly observed.
The FCT01-X lets you work with up to
3 application programs
simultaneously. You can choose from

The FCT01-X terminal meets the

and reliability of weighing results
