Simplebus Intercom Telephone
OKAY line telephone. Dimensions: 85x223x65 mm.
The Simplebus intercom telephone Art. 2418W can be used
both in intercom networks and directly on the riser of the
Simplebus system.
If telephone Art. 2418W is used in a non-intercom system, i.e. not
interfaced by Art. 4897, it must not have any intercom code set. To
eliminate any intercom code possibly inserted, use the hand-held
programmer Art. 1251 - see MT/SB2/02.
Factory telephone Art. 2418W can be used in Simplebus2 systems.
It is compatible with Simplebus1 systems and to use it on these
some of the card settings must be changed. See "How to set
telephone Art. 2418W for operation in Simplebus1 systems" on
page 30.

Art 2418W is provided with 7 pushbuttons and a signalling LED:
pushbutton 2 can be used for various uses. Fitted as standard with floor
door call function (see variant E) and call repetition (see diagram SB2/T).
It is possible to insert up to 8 telephones with the same user code
in the same intercom network.
To set the user code see "Programming user code telephone Art.
2418W and bracket Art. 4714W/2I" on page 27.
The label to be applied on the telephone is contained in bracket
Art. 2418W, on which it is possible to indicate the functions
programmed for the pushbuttons

9. Terminals connection system:
L L for connecting to the Bus line.
CFP CFP floor door call input.
P1 C1 pushbutton normally dedicated to various services.
To have a clean NO contact, cut bridges CV2 and CV3.
S+ S- terminals to connect a bell repetition device to.
10. LED terminals:
L+ L- terminals for LED 12÷18 VDC external power supply.
11. Dip switches for setting the user code (see page 27).
12. Microphone volume adjustment trimmer.
13. Bell volume adjustment trimmer.
14. CV4, CV5 bridges for supplying LED separately.
15. CV6 bridge for closing video.
16. CV1A and JP1 jumper for selecting Simplebus1 or Simplebus2
type of operation.
17. J3 connector for programming by means of Art. 1251.
