• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Keep
the appliance and its cord out of reach of young children.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
• Packaging materials (e.g. plastic bags) should not be accessible to children.
• Before using the appliance ensures that the mains cord and plug are dry.
• Never use the kettle with wet hands.
• Never use the kettle outdoors.
• Keep appliance at least 4 inches away from the walls or other objects during operation.
• Place the kettle on a surface that is resistant to heat.
• Whilst using the kettle, hot water can cause scalding if the kettle is not handled carefully. Only hold by the
handle (G) on the kettle.
• Do not leave the kettle unattended during use. Do not place or use the kettle on hot surfaces or near naked flames.
• Always pour water into kettle before plugging in and heating up the appliance.
• Never pour cold water into heated kettle immediately after boiling.
• Be sure that the kettle is filled with water to at least MIN mark. Do not operate appliance with little or no water.
