• This appliance may only be connected to a power supply with the voltage specified on the rating plate.
• Never use the cord to pull the plug out of the mains power outlet, remove by pulling out the actual plug.
• If the main cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to be replaced by a qualified electrical person only or
the product must be disposed.
• Never use the kettle if it has been dropped or has evidently been damaged or has become immersed in water.
• Any repairs to this item must be carried out by a qualified electrical person only or the product must be
disposed. Considerable danger may result from improper repairs.
• Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• Always disconnect from mains power: before cleaning and pouring water into the kettle, each time after use,
any abnormal situation during use.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
• Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
• Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
• The kettle must not be immersed in water or other liquids.
• Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not operate the kettle without any water in the kettle. Do
not move while the kettle is switched ON.
