automatic opeRating mode
In automatic operating mode, the
compressor and fan will run as long as
the room's humidity level is higher than
the required humidity level. Once the
room humidity reaches 5% below the
set level, the compressor and fan will be
turned off. The compressor and fan will
be turned on again when the humidity
in the room is 3% above the set level.
This setting saves energy and will only
work when the fan speed is set to high.
manual opeRating mode
In manual operating mode, the
compressor and fan will run until the
water bucket is full or until the set
humidity is reached. Fan speed and
power on/off can also be controlled on
the dehumidifier. Note that while the
remote control is activated, any settings
made on the remote will override the
settings made on the dehumidifier. This
also applies to the power on/off button.
If the remote doesn't communicate for
30 minutes, the power-on light flashes
and the audible alarm (Beep-Beep) will
be generated from the dehumidifier
unit. Once this is initiated, you can either
make settings on the dehumidifier
or synchronize the remote panel
and dehumidifier according to the
instructions in chapter 3.
menu setup mode
You can choose between two fan speeds
on the dehumidifier, high and low. High
fan speed generates maximum air flow
and dehumidification. On low fan speed,
the dehumidifier operates mote silently
and provides a lower dehumidification
capacity.
Humidity is set by 5% intervals and the
desired humidity level will be shown
as solid blocks and flash on the LCD
display. Once the setting bar reaches
the highest block, the control will switch
to Fan-Only Mode (indicated by * at
the top of the humidity scale) - the
compressor will be turned off. When
the humidity level setting bar reaches
below the lowest block, the control will
switch to Continuous Operation Mode
and the humidity sensor is turned off.
In this mode, the dehumidifier will not
be affected by the relative humidity and
operate continuously.
Browse through the different functions
by pressing the 'MENU' button. Press
the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons to switch
between the different options or to
change the setting values. Confirm your
selection by pressing the 'MENU' button
again. Press the 'MENU' button to go
through the different functions and to
return to Operating Mode.
cleaning and maintenance
Wood's dehumidifiers require cleaning
to maintain their high dehumidifying
capacity.
- The front grid can be vacuum-cleaned
or cleaned with a brush.
- The cooling coils are best cleaned with
a rag and warm water.
- The air filter may be washed or
vacuum-cleaned.
- The fan motor is permanently
lubricated and requires no
maintenance.
note: Always disconnect
the cord before cleaning.

- When the temperature drops the air
hold less water and the dehumidifier
will therefore run on lower capacity.
However, mould start to grow at 7°C
and 72% and that is why Wood's
TDR models are equipped with an

automatic mould protection system:
- When the room temperature falls below
15°C for more than 10 minutes, the unit
will automatically enter 'Low-Temp'
operation. During 'Low-Temperature'
operation, the fan will continue running
with the selected fan speed. The
compressor will cycle on and off. The
control will reset to normal operation
when the room temperature rises to
18°C or higher for 10 minutes.
- If ambient temperature is below 4°C
for 4 minutes, the compressor and fan
are shut off and the four LED lights on
the dehumidifier flash. The unit will
automatically restart when the ambient
temperature is above 5°C for 8 minutes.

If the dehumidifier requires servicing,
you must first contact the retailer. Proof
of purchase is required for all guarantee
claims.
