the float
The float consists of a white plastic
cylinder which hangs on two arms.
The float rests on the surface, so it is
lifted when the water level rises. When
the float reaches a certain height, the
dehumidifier responds to this and shuts
down automatically to prevent flooding.
When you have emptied the water
reservoir and are to replace it in the
dehumidifier, this is the simplest
method:
1. Push the water reservoir in until it
touches the float.
2. Raise the forward edge of the water
reservoir from below so that the
whole water reservoir is slightly
slanted.
3. Push the water reservoir home. The
float should now be in the reservoir
instead of being stuck
behind it.
note: It is important that
the float moves freely, since
its purpose is to respond to the
water level and ensure that the
dehumidifier is turned off when it
is high. A wrongly placed float may
allow the water reservoir to flood.
dRainage of WateR
The dehumidifier is fitted with a hose
connection. By attaching a hose to the
dehumidifier the dehumidified water
can be drained directly away.
using the hose:
1. Disconnect the dehumidifier from the
power source and remove the water
reservoir to give access to the drip tray.
2. Attach the hose coupling to the thread
on the dehumidifier and lead the hose
to a drainage outlet. Check that the
hose is not above the level of the drip
tray.
3. Connect the dehumidifier to the power
source.

Without hose, direct to a drain
outlet:
1. Disconnect the dehumidifier from the
power source and remove the water
reservoir.
2. Place the dehumidifier directly over the
drain so that the dehumidified water
can drip through the hole at the base of
the dehumidifier and into the drain.
3. Connect the dehumidifier to the power
source.

The remote panel can be mounted
to the wall (bracket included). Level
bracket on the surface as required. The
rear portion of the remote has receiver
holes to clip onto the holder. For table
top, use the fold-out stand located on
the back of the panel.
Synchronize the remote control and
operate several dehumidifiers with one
remote
The remote can control several
dehumidifiers but is by default set to
ONE TO ONE operation. To engage
the ONE TO MANY mode and control
several dehumidifiers with one remote,
the dehumidifier and the hand-held
control must be turned off. Press
the 'UP' ARROW & 'MENU' buttons
simultaneously on the handheld control
for 2 seconds then press the FAN button
on the dehumidifier. The remote now
controls all dehumidifiers within reach
of the same model.
To return to the ONE TO ONE mode, or
to synchronize the remote with one
dehumidifier, press the 'MENU' button,
then the 'UP' ARROW button and then
the FAN button on the dehumidifier.
Hold these three buttons until you hear
a "Beep". This means the ONE TO ONE
mode is activated and the remote and
dehumidifier are synchronized.
note: The ambient
relative humidity is most
simply measured with a wood's
hygrometer, and the most suitable
range is between 40% and 50%.
shutting off automatically
If selected, the "full bucket" alarm will
beep twice when the bucket is full. This
will be repeated every hour until the
bucket is emptied. When you switch the
dehumidifier off using the remote, the
compressor and fan will stop after the
remote is switched off. The dehumidifier
can't be switched off when the water
bucket is full.
1. Disconnect the dehumidifier from the
power source.
2. Empty the water reservoir.
3. Put the empty water reservoir back and
check that the float moves freely. See
the section on the Float.
4. Connect the dehumidifier to the power
source.
the aiR filteR
The air filter at the rear of the
dehumidifier ensures that the cooling
coils are kept free of dust. It is important
that the filter is kept clean so that air can
flow freely through the dehumidifier.
The filter should thus be cleaned when
required.
Your dehumidifier can be equipped with
a SMF-filter that enhances the capacity
of the dehumidifier and cleanses the air
further. Please refer to the separate filter
leaflet for installation and maintenance
instructions.
1. Loosen the filter by squeezing it lightly
in the middle. This releases the fixings
on the sides of the filter.
2. Lift the filter out and wash it with warm
water and a mild cleansing agent.
Alternatively the filter may be vacuum-
cleaned.
3. Let the filter dry and put it back.
