The attachment plug receptacles must be of a grounding type. The
grounding conductors serving these receptacles are to be connected to earth
ground at the service equipment.
Sun™ monitors are designed to operate with single-phase power systems
having a grounded neutral conductor. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do
not plug Sun monitors into any other type of power system.
Warning – To reduce the risk of electric shock, always power the monitor
using a grounding type (3-wire) power cord and a grounded wall outlet.
Note – Contact your facilities manager or a qualified electrician if you are
unsure of the type of power supplied to your building.
Your Ultra Enterprise System cabinet is designed to conform with the German
ergonomics standard, ZH 1/618. A German keyboard is required to comply
with the keyboard layout requirements of ZH1/618. For text processing, a
positive mode display (black characters on a white background) is suggested.
All cables provided with the equipment are designed to reduce RFI emissions.
For regulatory compliance reasons, these cables must be used and must not be
replaced by any other cables.
Pay attention to the following warnings when dealing with the batteries
incorporated into Sun boards.
