Safety Precautions
Interference by Data Processing Equipment and Electronic Office Machines
aimed at preventing radio interference in such residential areas. When used
near a radio or TV receiver, it may become the cause of radio interference. For
correct handling, read the instructions. If additional VCCI Class 1 peripherals
or boards are used with this equipment, the compliance level as a system
becomes VCCI Class 1.
Caution – Do not make mechanical or electrical modifications to the
equipment. Sun Microsystems™, Inc. is not responsible for regulatory
compliance of a modified Ultra Enterprise System cabinet.
For your protection, observe the following safety precautions when setting up
your equipment:

Follow all cautions, warnings, and instructions marked on the equipment.
•
Ensure that the voltage and frequency rating of the power outlet you use
matches the electrical rating label on the equipment and video monitor.
•
Use properly grounded power outlets only.
•
Never push objects of any kind through openings in the equipment as they
may touch dangerous voltage points or short out components that could
result in fire or electric shock.
•
Refer servicing of equipment to qualified personnel.
