Installation

• Fix the thermal release thermostat switch to the
right hand inside panel using the 3,5x6,5 screws
provided (Fig.3).
Attention: For appliances 14/56 the holes for the
thermal release thermostat are situ-
ated at the height of the middle heating
element on the right hand inside panel.
• Fix the safety thermostat to the air baffle plate
using the 3,5x6,5 screws provided (Fig.4).
• Remove the fixing screws for the day-acting ele-
ment from the floor baffle plate (Fig.5).
Only for appliances 14/51 and 14/55:
Remove the fluff filter (Fig.4, not shown) and the
fluff filter fixing plate.
Thread the two connecting cables of the day-
acting element into the connecting chamber
through the holes provided.
Fix the day-acting element to the floor baffle plate
first only on the left hand side (with 3 mounting
straps also in the centre) using the 3,5x6,5 screws
provided.
• Push the angled quick-connect tags of the day-
acting element onto the safety thermostat termi-
nals. Move the day-acting element to the right and
fix it using the mounting strap on the right hand
side. Make sure that the mounting straps are up-
right. The day-acting element is only fixed firmly
with the mounting strap on the right hand side. It
is only slightly fastened by the other strap(s) to
guarantee that the heating element can possibly
expand silently.
• Then push the flat quick-connect tabs of the day-
acting element and of the 250mm long black con-
necting cable on to the thermal release thermostat
terminals. Make sure the connections are firm.
• Connect the black connecting cable to terminal
LH, according to the circuit diagram.
• For appliances 14/51 and 14/56:
Connect the day-acting element cable to terminal
N, according to the circuit diagram.
For appliances 14/55:
Extend the connecting cable of day-acting ele-
ment with blue cable attached (length 150mm)
and connect them to terminal N, according to the
circuit diagram.
• Replace the fluff filter fixing plate and screw it
firmly on, then replace the fluff filter.
Make sure that the day-acting element does
not touch the bimetal strip and the air by-pass
plate is working correctly and is not blocked.
