Initial operation

Connect the power supply to the outdoor intercom (terminal
19 – check for correct polarity!) or charge the storage
battery fully. Then switch the outdoor intercom on at the
switch (18).
Open the battery compartment for the radio gong and
insert the 3 batteries of type AA (alkaline) into the battery
compartment with correct polarity. Then slide the battery
compartment cover back over the battery compartment.
The radio gong should react directly to the bell signal. If it
does not then look under the item 'Coding the radio gong'
to find out how the receiver can be re-set.
Mounting the outdoor intercom
1. Unscrew the housing screw (11) from the outdoor
intercom.
2. Remove the mounting plate (1.1) from the outdoor
intercom.
3. Look for a suitable location to mount the outdoor
intercom. If the outdoor intercom is to be operated with
the power supply unit then lay the cable in such a way
that it emerges from the wall in the lower third of the
mounting plate. If a door opener is to be controlled
