Install cutterhead guard (D) to the side of the jointer outfeed
table.
5.3 Mains connection
Mains connection and any extension cords used must comply
with applicable regulations.
The mains voltage must comply with the information on the
machine licence plate.
The mains connection must have a 16 A surge-proof fuse.
Only use connection cables marked H05VV-F
Connections and repairs to the electrical equipment may only
be carried out by qualified electricians.
5.4 Dust connection
Before initial operation, the machine must be connected to a
dust extractor.
5.5 Starting operation
You can start and stop the machine with the ON/OFF-
button(H, Fig7).
In case of machine overload the motor overload cut-off (G)
will react.
After appr.5 min of cooling the overload cut off can be reset.
6. Machine operation
6.1 Jointing and planing
Disconnect machine from power source before making any
adjustments. Failure to comply may cause serious injury.

Loosen lock handle (U).
Install planer table height adjustment handle (S).
Turn handle (S) counterclockwise and lower planer table (F1)
all the way.
Remove hex nut (B1) and flat washer (B2) from dust chute (B).
Orient the dust chute (B) as shown and install into the infeed
opening.
Position the chute (B) such that the 2 positioning pins and the
positioning screw meshes with the positioning holes on the
table (F1).
Raise the table until the dust chute (B) is held firmly in place
between the planer infeed table (F1) and jointer outfeet table
(F2). Do not overtighten.
Tighten lock handle (U).
Step 8 is optional:
Further secure the dust chute by reinstalling the hex nut (B1)
and flat washer (B2) from underneath the planer infeed table
(F1).
Remove handle (S).
Important:
Dust chute (B) must be properly installed in both jointer-
planer and thicknesser setup.
If improper installation fails to activate a micro-switch, the
machine will not start.
Adjustments:
Loosen the clamping knobs (F) for infeed table adjustment.
Adjust depth of cut with knob (E).
Retighten the clamping knobs.
