7. Caution: The two transport screws
(M5 x20) can only be removed once the
silicon bond has set!!! Ensure that the
MESA recess ventilator and the cooking
area are connected securely and tightly.
8. After removing the transport screws,
grip the suction slot on the LEFT and
RIGHT and lift the MESA UPPER SEC-
TION upwards at the front. The MESA
upper section pivots upwards. Pay at-
tention to the spring mechanism!!
Max. opening angle 30° ! There should
be no objects on the cooking area dur-
ing opening!
9. Now insert the supplied plastic plugs
into the screw openings of the transport
screws from above.
10. Insert the supplied metal filters in the
filter opening (magnetic contact).
11. Now create the electrical connection
between the cooking area, the MESA
recess ventilator and the electrical sup-
ply. Caution: Once the electrical connec-
tion is made, the drive motors of the
flaps close the suction slot. Ensure that
no objects are in this area. This work
may only be performed by a recognised,
qualified electrician.
12. Create the ventilation connection in
the lower section. Hint: To avoid ventila-
tion noises, ensure that the connection
is sealed. Use sealing tape as neces-
sary.
