MESA recess ventilator
installation instructions
General:
Before the MESA recess ventilator
leaves the works it undergoes an exten-
sive functional test.
For improved technical understanding of
the relation of the functional compo-
nents, the MESA recess ventilator is
delivered pre-assembled in its final con-
dition.
1. Remove the MESA recess ventilator
from the packaging carefully with the
help of another person. Then prepare
the installation location.
2. Cut out the appropriate section of the
worktop in accordance with the dimen-
sion table* using a suitable tool.
3. Insert the MESA recess ventilator in
the hole in the worktop. Use sealing
tape or silicon when doing so. Align and
centre the MESA recess ventilator. En-
sure equal distances!

4. Insert the two fixing straps and M8
threaded locking pins in the holes pro-
vided on the housing on the underneath
at the front.
5. On the rear of the MESA recess ven-
tilator, insert the two M8x70 threaded
locking pins in the holes provided. Then
secure all 4 threaded locking pins to the
worktop. Finally, seal the two openings
(rear) with the plastic plugs.
6. The cooking area can now be in-
serted in the MESA recess ventilator
lightly. When doing so, feed the cooker
connection cable into the PG glands and
the cable duct. Place silicon or sealing
tape on the support frame. Align the
cooking area paying attention to equal
clearance!
