1. Specialist installer qualification

Mounting may only be carried out by spe-
cialists who have the necessary knowledge
and experience in ventilation engineering.
Only a trained electrician is permitted to
work on the electrics. You are deemed a
trained electrician if you are familiar with the
relevant standards and guidelines, can
competently and safely connect units to an
electrical power supply in line with the
attached wiring diagram and are able to
recognise and avoid risks and dangers
associated with electricity on the basis of
your technical training and experience.

2. Intended use

EZR ... and DZR ... fans are used to extract
air from or ventilate changing rooms, design
offices, workshops, production sites, machine
or workplace extraction areas, industrial halls,
laboratories, fitness rooms, restaurants and
other commercial areas.
Operation is only permitted with:
● a fixed installation within buildings.
● installation on a wall with sufficient load-
bearing capacity.
● installation with protective grille with unco-
vered air inlet or outlet (protection against ac-
cidental contact according to EN ISO 13857).
These duct fans are designed for domestic
and light-duty commercial use. No other or
additional use is intended.
