The respective LED shows you which PC is active at the moment and is connect-
ed to the USB device.
• USB type-A connector for USB devices
Plug your USB device in here, e.g. a USB hub.
• Three USB type-B connectors for the connection of PCs
Connect these to a USB-Port on each of the PCs.
5. Connection to a USB device and PCs
For trouble-free USB support you should use at least Windows 98. The last version
of Windows 95 is normally not capable of ensuring operation with USB components
(although it says on the CD "...with USB support").
USB devices permit plugging in and unplugging during operation. You therefore
don't need to switch your PC off if you wish to plug in or unplug the device (with oth-
er interfaces this can lead to damage, for example if you plug in or unplug a PS/2
mouse during operation).
• Check that only one single button has been activated on the front panel of the USB
switch box.

• Touches de sélection des PC raccordés
Elles permettent de relier successivement les différents PC avec l'appareil USB
raccordé.
Lors de l'actionnement d'une touche (p. ex. "2"), l'autre touche (p. ex. "1") revient
automatiquement en position initiale.
