3. Safety provisions
Any damage caused by non-compliance with the operating instruc-
tions rule out your warranty claim! We shall not be held liable for
consequential damage resulting from such non-compliance.
For safety reasons and with regard to the homologation (CE),
unauthorized modifications and/or changes of the unit are
prohibited!
The product has been designed according to safety class 2. Only a proper mains
socket-outlet (230V/50 Hz)of the public electricity supply network may be used as
voltage source.
Units operated with mains voltage must be kept away from children. Therefore parti-
cular caution is required in the presence of children.
When used in industrial plants, the Provisions for the Prevention of Accidents of the
Association of Industrial Employers' Liability Insurance Associations for Electrical
Installations and Equipment must be complied with.
In schools, training centres, hobby and do-it-yourself workshops, operation of timer
switches must be supervised by responsible, well-trained staff.
Suitable protection measures against electrostatic charge must be taken on connec-
tion (e.g. earthing strip, non-conducting support etc.).
The product must be handled carefully; it will be damaged by knocks, impact or fal-
ling even from minor heights.
4.Inserting batteries, battery replacement
The battery compartment is located behind a cover on the underside of the remote
control. A battery, type "CR2025" must be inserted there.
When inserting the battery, pay attention to correct polarity; the polarity is indicated
in the battery compartment.
If you notice that the range of the remote control is decreasing, or that you have to push
the buttons longer until the unit reacts or that the control unit no longer reacts to actua-
tion of the buttons on the remote control, the battery must be replaced by a new one.

10. Entretien et nettoyage
Contrôlez régulièrement la sécurité technique de l'appareil, vérifiez par exemple si le
boîtier ou le câble d'alimentation présente des détériorations.
S'il est établi qu'un fonctionnement sans danger n'est plus garanti, l'appareil doit
être mis hors service afin d'éviter tout fonctionnement inopiné. Débranchez l'ap-
pareil, débranchez le bloc d'alimentation enfichable de l'unité de commande !
On peut supposer qu'un fonctionnement sans danger n'est plus assuré lorsque :
- l'appareil présente des détériorations visibles,
- l'appareil ne fonctionne plus
- l'appareil a été stocké de façon prolongée dans des conditions défavorables ou
- l'appareil a été transporté dans des conditions difficiles.
Avant de nettoyer ou d'entretenir l'appareil, respectez absolument les consi-
gnes de sécurité suivantes :
Les pièces internes de l'appareil ne doivent en aucun cas être
réparées par l'utilisateur.
En cas d'ouverture de couvercles ou de retrait de pièces, des piè-
ces sous tension peuvent être mises à nu.
Avant de nettoyer l'appareil, d'effectuer des opérations d'entreti-
en ou des réparations, toutes les sources d'alimentation de l'ap-
pareil doivent être coupées. Débranchez l'appareil, débranchez le
bloc d'alimentation enfichable ! La mise hors tension à l'aide des
interrupteurs marche/arrêt ne suffit pas !
Des condensateurs à l'intérieur de l'appareil peuvent être encore
chargés, même si toutes les sources d'alimentation de l'appareil
ont été coupées.
Les réparations doivent être réalisées uniquement par un person-
nel qualifié ayant été informé des dangers liés à ces opérations
ainsi que des consignes à respecter.
Pour nettoyer l'appareil, utilisez simplement un chiffon sec non-pelucheux.
Pour les taches plus tenaces, vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon légèrement humide et
un produit nettoyant non agressif.
