3. Proper use

The heater is designed for use outdoors in a
weather-protected area (not in the rain), garage
or workshed. Allow for the minimum clearances
listed in section 5.1 Installation. The equipment is
not suitable for heating baby changing tables or
for drying towels and textiles.
Do not cover the equipment – risk of fi re! The
heater warms objects or persons at which it is
pointed but does not directly heat the air in the
process.
The heater falls outside the area of application
of Regulation (EU) 2015/1188. It is not designed
to be used indoors to generate or maintain a
pleasant feeling temperature for the human body.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Before starting the equipment

Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Assembly
Warning!
Keep a minimum distance of 200 cm between
the front grille and any objects (e.g. curtains),
walls and other structural elements. There must
be a clearance of 50 cm between the side of the

equipment and any objects or walls which are not
within the radius of radiation. The distance to the
ceiling must be at least 50 cm.
Important! Required assembly parts (screws,
cable guides, etc.) can be found in the molded
parts of the packaging or on the parts of the
equipment (e.g. tubular stand).
5.1.1 Free-standing installation (Fig. 2 – 4)
Warning!
The equipment is allowed to be used only when
standing on a stable surface and fully assembled.
It is prohibited to operate the equipment on an
instable surface (e.g. on a bed).
1. Fig. 2: Screw the bottom section of the tubular
stand (10) to the base (12) with four M6
screws (A) and slide the screw cover (11)
over the bottom section of the tubular stand.
2. Fig. 3: Screw the middle section of the tubular
stand (9) to the bottom section of the tubular
stand with four M5x6 screws (B). Push the
cable guide (8) over the middle section of the
tubular stand. Screw the cable guide tightly in
place.
3. Fig. 4: Undo the locknut (6) and pull out the
telescopic tube (4) completely out. Tighten
the locknut (6) again. Slide the smaller cable
guide (5) over the telescopic tube (4) and
screw it tightly in place approx. 8 cm above
the locknut (6).
4. Fig. 4: Slide the cable guide (8) over the top
section of the tubular stand (7) from below.
5. Fig. 4: Screw the top section of the tubular
stand (7) to the middle section of the tubular
stand (9) with four M5x6 screws (C). Screw
the cable guide (8) tightly in place.
6. Fig. 5: Place the heater housing (1) onto
the telescopic tube (4). Be sure to hold the
telescopic tube steady with one hand as you
do so. Then use the screw (D) to lock the
heater housing on the telescopic tube (4).
Tighten the screw by turning clockwise.
7. Fig. 5: Clip the power cable into the cable
guides (5/8). The power cable must be routed
downwards via the cable guides.
The heater is now fully assembled and ready for
operation.
