5.1.2 Mounting on a wall
Warning!
Mounting in a horizontal and stationary position
on vertical walls at a height of at least 1.8 m
above the fl oor is mandatory. The distance to the
ceiling must be at least 50 cm. The heat emitted
by the heater may turn wooden ceilings dark in
spite of observing the minimum distance to the
ceiling. The equipment is not allowed to be fi tted
to the ceiling.
Make sure that there are no electric cables or
other installations (for example water pipes)
near the drill holes. Ensure that the equipment is
secured fi rmly and horizontally to the wall. Use
only suitable fastening material on a wall capable
of bearing the load and which is not highly
infl ammable. The supplied dowels and screws are
suitable for the following: Concrete, natural stone
with a dense structure, solid brick, solid limestone
bricks, solid lightweight concrete bricks and
aerated concrete.
1. Remove the preassembled wall bracket (Fig.
1/Item 3) from the back of the housing.
2. Use the wall bracket as a drilling template
and mark the upper drill holes at a height of at
least 185 cm above fl oor level. Mark the lower
drill holes. Drill the mounting holes (Ø 6 mm).
Insert the wall plugs and screw the fastening
screws into the plugs far enough to enable
the wall bracket to be hooked on.
3. Screw the wall bracket tightly onto the back of
the heater housing again.
4. Hang the equipment by the wall bracket on
the screws. Pull the equipment to the left as
far as it will go, then pull it down as far as it
will go until it hangs securely.
5.1.3 Angle adjustment (Fig. 5)
Warning! Only adjust the angle when the
housing is cold.
To adjust the angle of the heater housing, undo
the screw (F) and tilt the housing (a maximum
of approx. 45 degrees is possible) down. Then
retighten the screw (F).

6. Operation

Important. Before using the equipment for the fi rst
time, check that the voltage supply is the same
as the voltage details set out on the rating plate.

When the equipment is used for the fi rst time or
after a long period of rest, it may emit an odor for
a short time. This is not a fault.
If black spots appear on the heating elements du-
ring the fi rst minutes of operation, this will aff ect
neither the quality nor performance of the heater.
6.1 Topple cut-out
The equipment has a topple cut-out. This will trip
as soon as the device is tipped beyond certain
angle. It will cut in again after the device has been
placed upright.
6.2 Setting the heat output (Fig. 1)
The heat output is set by pulling the cord of the
pull switch once or repeatedly.
The selected heat output can be read off the dis-
play (2). If the maximum heat output is selected
and the pull switch is activated once more, the
appliance shuts down.
6.3 Display of heat settings (Fig. 1 / Item 2)
No heat output = Display „0"
650 W heat output = Display „1"
1350 W heat output = Display „2"
2000 W heat output = Display „3"

7. Replacing the power cable

Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
•
Maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by an authorized electrical servi-
cing contractor or ISC GmbH.
•
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
•
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
•
Never use combustible cleaning agents.
•
To remove dust on the safety grille and
heating elements, use a brush with long soft
