able batteries into the device.
Never try to recharge your bat-
teries immediately after charg-
ing. This could destroy the recharge-
able batteries and the battery charger.
Your rechargeable batteries are opti-
mally charged after the charging pro-
cedure. Further charging would sup-
ply more energy to your rechargeable
batteries than they can accommodate
(overcharging).
9. Consumer note
Please note that all new NiCd and
NiMH rechargeable batteries only
achieve their full capacity after
4-6 charging cycles.
10. What is the memory effect?
Only the constantly used partial ca-
pacity of the rechargeable battery is
available, if NiCd rechargeable bat-
teries are repeatedly only partially
discharged for a longer period and
then fully charged. This effect is the
so-called "Memory effect". I. e. your
rechargeable battery does not have
its full capacity available and this only
because it was not completely dis-
charged several times. Only the rela-
tively small partial capacity is available.
This could even mean that your re-
chargeable battery cannot be charged
anymore in extreme cases.
11. Replacing the fuse
The car adapter is protected by a fuse,
which triggers, if the load exceeds
2 ampere. The fuse is in the cap of the
plug. To exchange the fuse unscrew
the cap of the plug and replace the
fuse with a identical fuse.
12. Notes on Disposal
Old units, marked with the
symbol as illustrated, may not
be disposed of in the house-
hold rubbish.
Used re-
charge-
able and
non-rechargeable batteries which are
marked with one of the symbols il-
lustrated may not be disposed of in
the household rubbish. You must take
them to a collection point for old units,
old batteries or special waste (enquire
at your local authority) or the dealer
from whom you bought them. These
agencies will ensure environmentally
friendly disposal.
13. Care and warranty
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it
if necessary from other components;
do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
The unit has been carefully checked
for defects. If nevertheless you do
have cause for complaint, please send
us the unit with your proof of purchase.
We offer a 3 year warranty from date
of purchase.
We are not liable for damage arising
from incorrect handling, improper use
or wear and tear.
We reserve the right to make technical
modifications.

Mode d'emploi
L'ALG 2500 est un chargeur ra-
pide commandé par microproces-
seur pour la maison et en dépla-
cement. Cet appareil vous permet
de charger 1à 4 accus mignon
NiCd ou NiMH (AA) ou 1 à 2 accus
micro (AAA). Les accus sont char-
gés selon le procédé -∆U. Avec
l'adaptateur auto joint, les accus
peuvent être chargés par la fiche
d'allume-cigare (12 V CC) de vo-
tre véhicule.

2. Particularités
• Surveillance séparée des comparti-
ments de charge :
différentes capacités, types d'accus
(NiCd/NiMH) et tailles d'accus peu-
vent simultanément être chargés.
• Protection contre la surchauffe :
éteint automatiquement le chargeur,
dès que les accus insérés ou le char-
geur s'échauffent de trop.
• Ventilateur intégré :
protège l'électronique du chargeur
et les accus de la surchauffe.
• Chargement de maintien :
l'appareil bascule après le charge-
ment automatiquement sur charge-
ment de maintien.
• Reconnaissance des accus défec-
tueux :
dès qu'un accu inséré montre un
défaut, cet accu n'est pas chargé,
un signal d'avertissement retentit et
la DEL du compartiment de charge
correspondant clignote par intermit-
tence (rouge/vert).
• DEL bicolores (rouge/vert) :
indiquent l'état de fonctionnement
momentané (la DEL rouge signifie
chargement rapide, la DEL verte si-
gnifie chargement de maintien).
• Signal :
retentit automatiquement dès qu'un
accu inséré est chargé.

grante du produit. Il contient des
consignes importantes pour la mise
