Fastening the wall bracket

The camera should not be aimed directly at bright sunlight or bright lighting, since
this could overload the picture.

Cinch connection

Plug the video cinch cable into the
video output socket (4) of the camera as
illustrated and connect it with a suitable
monitor or TV system with video cinch
input.
To prevent distortions or mismatchings that could damage the device, the video
connection plug (yellow) may only be connected to a video cinch input.
For extension, only use the shielded cinch cables suitable for this. The use of other
cables might cause malfunctions. Keep the length of the cable as short as possible.

The surveillance camera records the images with date and time. You can also set the image
resolution and quality, the recording mode, the recording rate and the motion sensitivity.
Therefore, you have to select some parameters in the setup menu before using the camera for
the first time. Connect the surveillance camera to a monitor or TV system as described in the
chapter „Connection". Set the selection switch for the image format (2) on the top of the camera
to the available colour system.
NTSC = North American colour image format 60Hz,
PAL = European colour image format 50Hz
Switch on the monitor or the TV and select the input to which the surveillance camera is connected
(usually „AV"). Switch the surveillance camera on with the operating switch (C), switch position
ON. The POWER (7) indicator is lit. A systems test is performed automatically each time the
camera is activated. The screen turns blue, „REC" (12) appears briefly and then goes off again.
On delivery, the surveillance camera switches automatically to live camera mode. The current
camera image is displayed. When switching the recording mode (time/motion), the surveillance
camera switches to the present mode and starts recording.
Press the button
„MENU/EXIT" (3). This opens the main menu.
You can select the settings of the individual menu points with the buttons (9) and (10). The
currently selected menu point is marked with a triangle at the start of the row.

in the right top corner of the screen with squares.
1 square = main menu
2 squares = 1st sub-menu
3 squares = 2nd sub-menu
