The warranty/guarantee will lapse for damage arising due to non-compliance with
these operating instructions. Liability for any and all consequential damage is
excluded!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by impro-
per use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. Any warranty/guarantee
claim will be invalid in such cases!
Dear customer, The safety instructions and danger warnings below are not only for the protec-
tion of the device but also to protect your well being. Please read carefully through the following
points:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety
and approval reasons (CE). Furthermore, the warranty/guarantee would also expire in such a case.
• This product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children. Children do not understand how dangerous
electrical devices can be. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
• The control unit is intended for use in dry indoors, it must not get damp or wet. This would not only
destroy the product but it also represents a deadly peril through an electric shock!
• The surveillance camera supplied is suitable for operation in indoor areas or on a vertical wall in the
outdoor area.
• The appliance is constructed according to protection class II. As a voltage source only a proper
power socket of the public power supply system may be used.
• If the devices supplied are brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. for transport reasons), it is pos-
sible that condensation water develops. It could damage the products. There is also the deadly peril
of an electric shock.
Therefore, you should allow the devices to warm up to room temperature before using it or connec-
ting the power adapter to a socket outlet. This process may take several hours.
