Auto Rhythm
Accompaniment
The DD-8 is capable of accompanying you with 100
automatic rhythm styles covering an extremely wide range of
musical genres. These styles are listed in the STYLE LIST (T)
at the top of the control panel. You can select and play back
any of the styles, then play along with them using the manual
percussion techniques described in the preceding chapter.
Try pressing the START/STOP button The DD-8 will
begin playing style 00 (DANCE 1), which is automatically
selected as the current accompaniment style each time you
turn on the POWER switch (4). You can stop the
accompaniment by pressing the START/STOP button again.
4.1 Accompaniment Style Selection
You can use the method below to select a different style
using the method below at any time, even while the Auto
Rhythm Accompaniment is playing.
1. First, make sure that the letter "P" does not appear as the
first character in the display (6). tf it does, press the
STYLE/PERCUSSION SET button
disappear, and the number of the currently selected style
will appear in its place.
Note: Style 00 (DANCE 1) is automatically selected each
time you turn the POWER switch @ on.
2. Use the number buttons ® to enter the number of the
desired style (00 through 99).
Always enter two digits to select an accompaniment style.
For example, to select style 05 (DANCE 6), press the "0"
button and then the "5" button. If the Auto Rhythm
Accompaniment is already playing, the DD-8 will change
to the new style at the beginning of the next measure after
you enter the second digit of its number.

4. Begleitautomatik
Das DD-8 kann Sie mit 100 automatischen Rhythmusstilen
begleiten und deckt somit ein extrem weites Gebiet musikalischer
Stile ab. Die Namen der Rhythmen sind in der STYLE LIST 0 auf
dem Bedienfeld aufgedruckt. Sie können jeden beliebigen
Rhythmus wählen und abspielen und gleichzeitig mitspielen.
Außerdem können Sie während des Spiels die oben erwähnten
Perkussionsfunktionen einsetzen.
Drücken Sie die START/STOP-Taste Das DD-8 startet dann die
Wiedergabe von Stil 00 (DANCE 1), Diese Grundeinstellung für
den Begleitstil wird beim Aktivieren des POWER-Schalters @
automatisch vorgegeben. Sie können die Begleitautomatik durch
Drücken der START/STOP-Taste wieder ausschalten.
4.1 Wahl eines Begleitstils
Anhand der unten beschriebenen Prozedur können Sie jederzeit -
auch wenn gerade ein anderer Begleitstil abgespielt wird - einen
anderen Stil aufhifen.
1. Schauen Sie zunächst nach, ob im Display der Buchstabe "P"
angezeigt wird. Wenn dies nicht der Fall sein sollte, drücken Sie
die STYLE/PERCUSSiON SET-Taste ®. Daraufhin wird das P
gelöscht und die Nummer des gewählten Stils erscheint im
Display ®.

HINWEIS: Wenn Sie den POWER-Schalter ® auf "ON"
stellen, wird automatisch Stil 00 (DANCE 1)
aufgerufen.
2. Gebrauchen Sie die Zifferntasten ®, um die Nummer des
gewünschten Stils (von 00 bis 99) einzugeben.
Geben Sie immer zweistellige Zahlen ein, um einen Begleitstil
zu wählen. Zum Beispiel, um den Stil 05 (DANCE 6) zu
wählen, drücken Sie zuerst die Taste "0" und anschließend die
Taste "5". Wenn die Begleitautomatik bereits spielen sollte,
schaltet das DD-8 um, sobald Sie die zweite Ziffer eingegeben
haben, und zwar immer am Beginn des nächsten Taktes.
