c) Setting PIR Sensitivity

• After selecting one of the warning sounds in step 2 ("Aud1" to "Aud4"), briefly
pressing the button "SET" (14) will take you to PIR sensitivity selection. The
display indicates "PIR1"; see figure on the right.
• To set PIR sensitivity ("PIR1" to "PIR4"), repeatedly press the button "UP" (15) or
"DOWN" (16).
Please note:
If no button is pressed for about 12 seconds, the setting mode is
terminated automatically; the settings are not stored! The halogen lamp
goes out; the surveillance camera is back in standby mode.
"PIR1": High sensitivity
"PIR4": Low sensitivity
High sensitivity will trigger video recordings, a warning signal or the halogen lamp
(depending on operating mode settings) even after small temperature changes in
the surveillance area.
These settings also must be chosen if you want to use the surveillance area border areas (e.g. recognition of
persons at a larger distance by the PIR motion detector).
However, this may cause false alarms by smaller animals (e.g. dogs, cats) in the surveillance area.
• Briefly press the button "SET" (14) after setting PIR sensitivity.
If the display indicates "AF", this is the ID code setting, which is unimportant for
this surveillance camera model.
Just press the button "SET" (14) again to terminate setting mode; the 4 dashes
appear again on the display.
The surveillance camera is in standby mode; it is ready for operation.
Depending on operating mode settings (chapter 10. a), the video recording,
warning sound or halogen lamp are triggered.
Now set the light duration and light sensitivity (see chapters 11 and 12).
