• Insert the front part of the surveillance camera in the wall holders and
fasten it with the two attachment screws (5).
• Align the lamp head (3) of the halogen lamp towards the desired area, turn
it to the left or right.
The lamp head's inclination can also be adjusted. Loosen the screw (18)
and adjust the lamp head as desired. Then tighten the screw (18) again.
Do not apply any force when tightening; otherwise, the thread will be
damaged. Loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Then align the camera with the PIR towards the desired surveillance area.
• Switch on the mains voltage.
• The surveillance camera luminaire lights up for approx. 1 minute (self-test).
Then the surveillance camera is ready for operation.
• Now set date and time as described in the next chapter and select the
desired operating mode.
Only then will the PIR motion detector be active and start video recording when it detects motion in the surveillance
area.
The PIR motion detector will not react to motion alone (e.g. a falling leaf, moving objects), but different
moving heat areas, e.g. movements of a person or animal with warm body parts before a background of
a different temperature.
The videos are each about 20-30 seconds long. Continuous storage of short videos like these has some
advantages:
- Small files (ideal also for sending by email)
- Easier overwriting when the memory card is full
- Higher safety from storage errors since only short videos can be lost
