Wireless LCD Remote Control RSLT

Intended Use
This multi-functional wireless remote control (transmission frequency: 433 MHz) is intended to be used to wirelessly
switch suitable receivers on or off, via 16 channels (e.g. radio-controlled switch sockets, radio-controlled outdoor
switches, etc.). Various program modes are available for switching the receiver on or off. See the chapter features in
this manual.
The radio remote control is only suitable for use in dry indoor locations.
The radio remote control is powered by 2 x 1.5V micro batteries (type: AAA).
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These instructions not only protect
the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire operating manual before using the product.
This product complies with the applicable National and European requirements. All names of companies and products

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions. We do not assume any liability for any consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper hand-
ling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will be null and void in such
cases.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of this product is not permitted because of
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the product emits only relatively
weak radio signals, these may lead to the malfunction of life-support systems. The same may be the
case in other areas.
• The wireless remote control is powered by 2 x 1.5V micro batteries (type: AAA).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore, be especially careful
when children are around. Children might try to push objects through the socket openings, for
example. There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The radio remote control is only suitable for use in dry indoor locations.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even from a
low height.
Battery notes
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by children or domestic
animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Make sure that the battery is neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries that are intended
for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If it is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the battery. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the
product, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee.
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read the chapter „Disposal".
Controls
1) LCD Display
2) Keypad
Keypad for switching between channels 1 to 4 (left column „ON" = acti-
vate the programmed receiver, right column „OFF" = deactivate the pro-
grammed receiver). The switching channels are named PROG, CD,
RND, TEMP to identify the function for the corresponding switching
channel.
3) „ALL-ON" button
Pressing this button activates all receivers of all switching groups.
4) Selector switch for switching group
A total of 16 radio receivers (e. g. radio controlled sockets can be
connected). The 16 radio receivers are categorised into 4 switching
groups; switching groups: 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 as well as switching group 13-16.
5) „CLK" Button
Press and hold down this button, to display the time-setting mode.
6) „PROG" button
Select the setting mode for the weekly switching times. Activates/deacti-
vates the weekly switching times.
7) „CD" button
Press and hold it down, to access the countdown-setting mode Press
briefly, to enable or disable the countdown.
8) „RND" button
Press to activate the random receiver function, activation and
deactivation.
9) „TEMP" Button
Press and hold it down, to access the mode for setting the temperature
values. Press, to activate or deactivate the temperature-dependent
receiver switching function.
10) „DEL" button
Enables the frost protection function (if the temperature-dependent
receiver switching function is activated). Used in certain modes to reset
the values.
11) „ALL-OFF" button
Pressing this button deactivates all receivers of all switching groups.
Inserting/replacing the batteries

Open the battery compartment, on the bottom of the radio remote control. Insert 2 x 1.5V micro batteries, paying
attention to the correct polarity (type: AAA) (see the label in the battery compartment). Close the battery compartment.

The batteries need changing, if the range of the radio transmitter decreases significantly or if the display contrast

decreases noticeably.
Setting the Time
Press and hold the „CLK" button down, until the weekday on the LCD Display starts flashing. The „ALL-ON" or „ALL-OFF"
button can then be used to set the desired value. The „CLK" button is used to confirm the setting made.
• The weekday flashes. Set the current weekday and confirm the entry.
• The hours flash. Set the current hour. Confirm your entry.
• The minutes flash. Set the current minutes. Confirm your entry.
• The time was set successfully. The remote control returns to the normal display mode.
Setting the weekly switching times (timer function)
Press and hold the „PROG" button down, until the day blocks start flashing on the LCD Display. The „ALL-ON" or „ALL-OFF"
button can then be used to set the desired value. The „PROG" button is used to confirm the settings made. Press „DEL", to
delete the last setting made.
a) The day block flashes. Select the desired day block (Monday to Friday or Monday to Sunday). Confirm the settings.
Now the desired turn-on time can be programmed.
b) The hours flash. Set the desired hour and confirm the settings.
c) The minutes flash. Set the desired minutes. Confirm your entry.
d) Repeat a) to c) in order to program the desired time to turn-off.
e) Repeat a) to d) to set up to a maximum of 10 switching groups (each switching group consists of a time-on and a
turn-off time).
Setting the countdown time
Press the „CD" button, to access the countdown mode. The display shows CD.
• Press and hold the „CD" button down, until ON or OFF starts flashing.
• Select the desired value, by using the buttons „ALL-ON", „ALL-OFF" or OFF. You can set two countdown times. They
are named notionally ON and OFF respectively. Thus, for example, a countdown time can be set to activate a pro-
grammed load (=ON) and a countdown time to deactivate a programmed load (=OFF). However, only one countdown
time can be switched to active.
• Press the „CD" button. The hours flash. Set the desired hour, using the „ALL-ON" or „ALL-OFF" button.
• Press the „CD" button. The hours flash. Set the desired minutes, using the „ALL-ON" or „ALL-OFF" button.
Activating and deactivating the random function
Press the „RND" button. The letters „RND" appear on the display. The programmed receiver is now activated or deacti-
vated at random intervals.
Press the „RND" button again. The letters „RND" disappear from the display. The random function is disabled.
Setting the temperature switching limit
Press and hold the „TEMP" button down, until the temperature starts flashing on the LCD Display.
The „ALL-ON" or „ALL-OFF" button can then be used to set the desired value. The „TEMP" button is used to confirm
the settings made. Press „DEL", to delete the last setting made.
• Now set the temperature, at which the programmed receiver is to be deactivated. Confirm the settings.
• Now set the temperature, at which the programmed receiver is to be activated. Confirm your entry.
Press „TEMP", to activate the the temperature-dependent receiver switching function. The display shows „TEMP". This
function can be deactivated in the same way.
It is only possible to use the temperature-dependent switching function on receivers programmed to channel 4
(lettering: TEMP).
Programming and deleting receivers
• On the remote control, set the switch group, to which the radio receiver must be programmed, using the „selector
switch for switch group" (4).
• Set the receiver to the programming mode. Please follow these operating instructions when so doing.
• Press the ON button for the desired „switching channel" (2) to which the receiver must be programmed. The pro-
gramming has been completed successfully.
To program a receiver to a switching channel for which a receiver is already programmed, proceed as follows:
• Power up your receiver.
• Press and hold the button ON and OFF simultaneously, for the „switching channel" (2) to which the additional
receiver is to be programmed, until the red LED on the receiver starts flashing.
• Release the ON and OFF buttons and then press the ON or OFF button for the „switching channel" (2) to which the
additional receiver is to be programmed.
• The programming has been completed successfully.
If the temperature-dependent switching function is enabled, the frost protection function (+4°C) can also
be activated, by pressing „DEL" (a star symbol appears on the LCD screen). By pressing the „DEL"
button again, the function will be disabled.
A total of 4 receivers can be programmed for each switching group. Each switching group has 4
switching channels. These are the buttons 1 to 4 on the remote control. Each switching channel
consists of an „ON" and „OFF" button.
