Deleting programmed receivers from the remote control
• Press the ON and OFF buttons simultaneously for the „switching channel" (2) to which the receivers have been pro-
grammed. The LED on the receiver starts flashing.
• Now, press the „ALL-ON" (3) button and the „ALL-OFF" (11) button simultaneously. The LED on the receiver goes
out. All receivers have been deleted successfully from the remote control.
To delete a single receiver, press the corresponding ON or OFF button for the „switching
channel" (2) to which the receiver has been programmed, instead of pressing the „ALL-ON" (3)
and „ALL-OFF" (11) buttons.
The Remote Control's Dimmer Function
The following function is available only with suitable wireless dimmers:
• Turn on the dimmer by pressing the ON button for the corresponding switching channel briefly.
• Press and hold down the ON key for the corresponding switching channel. The dimmer function is activated.
• Press the ON key for the corresponding switching channel again. The dimmer function is deactivated.
Activating / deactivating the receiver
On the remote control, set the switch group, to which the receiver must be programmed, using the „selector switch for
switch group" (4).
Commission the receiver in the correct way (follow the receiver's operating instructions).
Press the ON or OFF button, for the switching channel to which the receiver has been programmed. The receiver is
activated/deactivated.
Using the Timer Function
To use the timer function (the receiver is activated or deactivated according to the
times defined, as seen previously in the Chapter „Setting weekly switching times"),
set the „selector switch for switch group" (4) to the position shown on the right.
Now program the receiver to switching channel 2. Then press the „PROG" button (6). The display shows „PROG". The
timer function is now activated.
The timer function can be deactivated by pressing the „PROG" button (6). The symbol „PROG" disappears from the
display.
Using the countdown function
To use the countdown function (the receiver is deactivated after the set countdown
time expires), set the „selector switch for switch group" (4) to the position shown on
the right.
Now program the receiver to switching channel 1. Then press the „CD" button (7). The display shows „CD". The
remaining time for the countdown appears on the display. The countdown function is activated.
Press the „CD" button (7) again, to deactivate the countdown function. The letters „CD" disappears from the display.
Using the random function
To use the random function (the receiver is activated and deactivated once every 2
hours at different time intervals), set the „selector switch for switch group" (4) to the
position shown on the right.
Now program the receiver to switching channel 3. Then press the „RND" button (8). The display shows „RND". The
random function is enabled.
To deactivate, press the „RND" button (8) again. The symbol „RND" disappears from the display.
Using the temperature-dependent receiver
activation/deactivation
To use the temperature-dependent receiver activation/deactivation function (the
receiver is activated/deactivated according to the temperature limits set), set the
„selector switch for switch group" (4) to the position shown on the right.
Now program the receiver to switching channel 4. Then press the „TEMP" button (9). The display shows „TEMP". The
temperature-dependent receiver activation/deactivation function is enabled.
To deactivate, press the „TEMP" button (9) again. The letters „TEMP" disappears from the display.
Maintenance and Care
The product does not require any maintenance. You should never open it or take it apart.
Only clean the product with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions since
these might damage the surface of the casing or impair the operation.
Handling
• The wireless remote control must not get damp or wet.
• Avoid the following unfavourable environmental conditions at the place of use, and during trans-
portation:
- Humidity and damp may damage the remote control.
- Direct sunlight
- Extreme cold or heat
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
• Ensure that the insulation for the entire product is neither damaged nor destroyed. Never disassemble
the product! Except for changing the battery, there are no serviceable parts inside.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you notice any damage, do not use the product any longer!
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible:
- if the device is visibly damaged
- if the device no longer works
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
Transmission range
The transmission range of the radio signals between the handheld transmitter and the corresponding receiver is up to
50 m under optimum conditions.
This value, however, is the so-called „open field range" (the range when transmitter and receiver
are visible to each other, without interfering influences).
In practical operation, however, there are walls, ceilings of rooms etc. between the transmitter
and the receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the different influences on the radio transmission, no specific range can be guaranteed.
However, trouble-free operation is usually possible in a detached house.
The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:
• walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
• coated/metallised insulated glass
• proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g. radiators)
• proximity to human bodies
• Broadband interferences, e.g. in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobile phones, radio-controlled headphones,
radio-controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations, baby phones etc.)
• Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units, computers
• Proximity to badly shielded or uncovered computers in use or other electrical appliances
Disposal
a) General
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory requirements.
b)Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable
batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to indicate that disposal
in domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg
= Mercury, Pb = Lead.
Used batteries, rechargeable batteries as well as coin cells can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cells are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
