Attachment of the parallel guide
Fig. 3
• Attach the parallel guide (12) on the right side
of the machine, as shown in Fig. 3
• Lock the guide down by turning the
adjustment knob (13) clockwise.

4. OPERATION

Unplug the machine before mounting
any accessories!
Adjusting the sawing depth
Fig. 1, 5
The sawing depth can be adjusted with the saw
depth limiter.
• Loosen the saw depth limiter (3) using the hex
key (17) and move the saw depth limiter to the
required saw depth. The sawing depth 'A' is
shown in Fig. 5B. The depth indicator has long
lines to indicate even milimeters and short
lines to indicate odd milimeters.
• Tighten the saw depth limiter (3) using the hex
key (17).
Indications:
• For optimal result when sawing wood, the
cutting depth should be set slightly greater
than the thickness of the chosen material.
• When cutting plastic, the cutting depth should
also be greater than the thickness of the
material. If the material begins to melt, then
setting a greater depth of cut usually resolves
the problem.
• When cutting metal, the cutting depth should
be at least 1.0 mm larger than the thickness of
the material.
• When sawing wood or plastic, the depth of cut
can also be set exactly on the thickness of the
material to prevent that the underlying surface
gets damaged. However, this does lead to an
impure saw cut at the bottom of the workpiece
Blade replacement without removing the guard
Fig. 4
Incorrect positioning of the blade can
permanently damage the tool. Always
wear protective gloves to prevent injury!

1. Press the spindle lock button (14) to prevent
the saw from turning. (Fig. 4A)
2. Keep the spindle lock button (14) pressed and
loosen the clamping nut (16) using the hex key
(17). (Fig. 4B)
3. Remove the mounting flange (15)
4. Loosen the saw depth limiter (3) using the hex
key (17) and press the guard to remove the
blade. (Fig. 4C)
5. Keep the guard pressed and place the new
blade onto the blade shaft. Ensure the hole
locates correctly and the teeth point in the
direction of the curved arrow. (Fig. 4C)
6. Place the mounting flange (15) insuring the
long sides of the mounting flange correspond
with the long sides of the blade shaft.
7. Press the spindle lock button (14) pressed and
tighten the clamping nut (16) using the hex key
(17). (Fig. 4D)
8. Make sure the blade rotates smoothly by
rotating the sawblade at least one turn. Check
if the guard functions correctly.
9. The machine can now be used again.
Holding and turning on the saw
Fig. 1
Holding the saw correctly makes the work lighter,
cleaner and safer. The Precision Circular Saw is
only suitable for right-handed use.
• Slide the on-/off switch (4) forward.
• Release the on-/off switch to switch the
machine off
Speed Adjustment
Fig. 1
The required speed can be adjusted by using the
Speed adjustment knob (7). Also during running
the rotational speed can be adjusted.
• To increase the speed, turn the Speed
adjustment knob (7) clockwise.
• To decrease the speed, turn the Speed
adjustment knob (7) anti-clockwise.
The required speeds depends on the material
and can be determined by practical testing.
Clamping
It is not normally necessary to clamp the material
being cut as long as it is fully supported on a work
surface and held with one hand. Clamping should
