(1) SNOOZE button (alarm repeat)
Pressing the Snooze button when the alarm goes off stops the
alarm for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the alarm goes off again.
The ALM indicator flashes in SNOOZE mode.
(2) ALM/STD button
The ALM/STD button fulfils various functions, it is used to:
• show the alarm time
• set the alarm, hours setting
• activate or deactivate the alarm function
• stop the alarm.
(3) ALM/MIN button
The ALM/MIN button fulfils various functions, it is used to:
• show the alarm time
• set the alarm time, minutes setting
• activate or deactivate the alarm function
• stop the alarm.
(4) LED indicator display
The display consists of four 7-segment LED indicators with two
LEDs as a colon which separates the hours from the minutes, one
LED as an indicator for the ALM function and one LED as an indi-
cator for the DCF function.
(A) Time indication/hours
The two 7-segment LED indicators show the time in hours.
(B) Time indication/minutes
The two 7-segment LED indicators show the time in minutes.
(C) ALM indicator
The ALM indicator lights up when the alarm function has been
activated.

The ALM indicator flashes when the alarm has been stopped
by pressing the SNOOZE button (alarm repeat).
(D) DCF indicator
The DCF indicator is lit when the clock is in the process of
being synchronised.
(5) Low-voltage socket
The corresponding output connector of the power supply unit is
connected to the low-voltage socket at the rear of the appliance.
This socket is used to power the clock.
(6) Battery compartment
The battery compartment is used to hold the miniature battery.
The battery is required in order to power the clock.
(7) Power supply unit
The power supply unit is used to power the clock/LED display.
(7a) Mains plug
This plug is used to power the power supply unit. This plug may
only be plugged into a 230 V AC mains socket outlet.
(7b) Low-voltage connector
This connector carries the supply voltage for the DCF clock. Plug this
connector into the low-voltage socket (5) of the clock.

The battery may only be replaced by a battery of the same type.
