9. Connecting to the PC/MP3 Player

You can also use the product to playback audio signals, from a PC or MP3 Player for example.
Use the 3.5 mm "LINE IN" (10) jack plug connection.
Note that the playback function deactivates automatically after half an hour
to preserve the battery life. To reactivate the playback function, press the
"SOUND ON/OFF" (6) button.

10. Playing back sounds of nature

• Press the "ON/OFF" (6) button to switch on the sounds of nature playback function.
• The "SELECT" (5) button enables you to select different sounds of nature.
The sounds of nature include birdsong, a rippling stream, the roar of the ocean and two tel-
ephone ringing tones.
The sound of nature you set also sounds as the alarm. Please proceed as follows to select a
different sound:
• Press the "MODE" (2) button twice.
• Press the "SET" (3) button three times.
• Use the "▲ / ▼" (4) button to select a different sound of nature.
• Press the "MODE" (2) button three times to return to the standard display.

11. Connection for external power supply

If you want to use the product to playback audio signals permanently, you should connect the
product to a suitable power pack (6 VDC/1 A, not supplied as standard).
