2. INTENDED USE

The device is used to measure the intensity of solar radiation in W/m². It enables the efficiency
of a PV or solar system to be controlled quickly and efficiently. Simply measure the solar
radiation per m², convert to the nominal power of the PV system and compare it to the actual
network supply. The ideal location for a new PV system can also be determined with the DL-
131 LUX. The measured radiation strength is put in interim storage on the data logger for later
evaluation. The measurements can be started automatically or manually. The voltage supply
takes place via a 3.6 V-Lithium battery type 1/2 AA.
The product is EMC tested and meets the requirements of the applicable European and
national directives. Compliance assessment (CE marking) was passed successfully; the
relevant statements and documents are available from the manufacturer.
Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product are not permissible for safety and
approval reasons (CE). Any other use than described above is not permitted and may cause
damage to the product. Apart from this, it is connected to dangers such as short circuit, fire,
electric shock, etc. Read the operating instructions precisely and keep them for later reference.
