Replacing a Hard Drive

The procedure for removing a hard drive is shown below. After removing the hard drive, perform the
removal procedure in reverse order to install a new hard drive.

Turn off the product power and remove all connected cables.

While pressing on the indentation on the left side as seen from the front, pull
the front cover towards the front.

Remove the front cover.

While pressing the bottom tab of the failed hard drive, pull out the top tab by
about 2 cm.

Be careful that you do not get your fingers
pinched in between the tab, knob, or hard
drive.
