17. Usable CDs, USB and SD-Memory
CDs
The CD player is only suitable for playing back standard audio CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs and MP3 CDs; do not
insert any other CDs. Non-finalised CDs cannot be played.
USB memory
USB media up to 500 GB can be connected to the USB interface.
The USB storage medium must be formatted in FAT16, FAT32 or HSF+. NTFS-formatted USB storage media
are not supported.
Only USB storage media can be operated at the USB connection. MP3 players with a USB port usually
switch into PC mode when this port is connected. In this mode, music files cannot be played.
Optical devices (e.g. CD drive), memory card readers or USB hubs are not supported by the USB connec-
tion.
Due to the great variety of systems with USB interfaces and their different functions, some of
which are very producer-specific, we cannot guarantee that all media will be recognised and
that all the operational functions are available on this device.
SD memory
SD storage media (SD and SDHC) up to 32 GB are supported.
The SD storage medium must be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.
Memory card readers are not supported at the SD connection.
Due to the great variety of systems with SD storage media and their different functions, some of
which are very producer-specific, we cannot guarantee that all media will be recognised and
that all the operational functions are available on this device.
