› Turn the amplifier with the mains switch POWER (1) on.
› With the input selection switch (9), select the desired input source (e.g. CD player).
› Turn the sound control (5) clockwise until you achieve the desired volume.
› With the TREBLE (14) and BASS (15) controls, alternatively with the PRESET EQ (4) button, sound
can be changed.
› To turn the amplifier off, turn the volume control (5) back to „MIN" (left) and the turn the ampli-
fier off with the mains switch (1).
If you do not observe this order, the loudspeaker of the amplifier could be dama-
ged.

Recording

› With the input selection switch (9-13), select the desired input source (e.g. CD player).
› Press the record button on the recording device. The recording device must be connected to
the TAPE REC sockets.
› The volume and sound settings have no effect on the quality of the recording.

Remote control
The main functions of the amplifier and other devices of the X4-TECH HiFi series can be control-
led from the sofa with the system remote control included.
Inserting batteries/replacing batteries
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Batteries are special waste and have no place in the household waste.
When installing the batteries, make sure to pay attention to the correct polarity.
Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a longer period of time.
Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is the risk that they will be
swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
Make sure that batteries are not short-circuited or thrown into fire. They may not be
re-charged. There is a danger of explosion.
Leaking or damaged batteries can cause chemical burns to skin when touched, use
protective gloves.
› Slide the battery compartment cover on the back upwards and take it off.
› Insert two new 1.5 V mignon batteries (AA) in the battery compartment paying attention to the
polarity. The correct polarity is stamped in the bottom of the battery compartment .
› Replace the battery compartment cover.
› When the range of the remote control deteriorates or the remote control ceases to function
properly, batteries should be replaced as described above.
› In order to ensure long battery lifetime, use alkaline battery types only.
› Batteries with varying states of charge or from different manufacturers should never be
mixed.
