Control connection for remote
Should further devices be connected to the X4-TECH HiFi series, these can be controlled by re-
mote via the system panel.
For this, the control sockets of the individual devices must be connected to the control sockets
of the amplifier. Connection leads come together with the individual devices.
› Connect the control socket of your equalitzer with the control socket REMOTE SYSTEM EQ. at
the rear of the amplifier.
› Connect the control socket of your tape deck with the control socket REMOTE SYSTEM TAPE. at
the rear of the amplifier.
› Connect the control socket of your radio with the control socket REMOTE SYSTEM TUNER. at the
rear of the amplifier.
› Connect the control socket of your CD player with the control socket REMOTE SYSTEM CD. at
the rear of the amplifier.
Connecting the power supply
Before connecting the amplifier to the mains power supply, make sure that the PO-
WER switch (1) is off (position „OFF") and that the VOLUME control (5) is turned right
down (all the way to the left).
The POWER (1) switch does not entirely disconnect the device from the electricity
supply. In order to completely separate the device from the electricity net, you have
to pull the mains plug out of the wall socket.
› Connect the mains plug of the amplifier's mains cable to a socket (230 V~/50 Hz) linked to the
public power supply network.

Please note that sound controls that are turned up very high already require very high perfor-
mance from the amplifier even at medium value and can easily oversteer it. This results in distor-
tions that may damage the loudspeaker.
In case of high volumes and/or highly turned up sound controls, check for distortions and turn
down the volume control or the sound controls immediately to prevent damage to the lou-
dspeakers.
