The values displayed in the lower area are subject to a special feature.
The meter can record and display the operating term as well as the energy (col-
loquially: "energy consumption") for 4 different conditions:
• Consumer on ("ON")
• Consumer in standby mode ("STANDBY")
• Consumer off ("OFF")
• Total duration/total consumption
Function examples:
• The meter can display how long a computer is in use or in energy savings
mode or switched off.
• The meter can record and display the two different operating modes of a re-
frigerator (in this function example, the condition "Consumer off" is not used).
For the meter to record the respective operating term and the energy
correctly, a specific limit of power intake must be set for the standby
mode and deactivated condition, see chapter 8. d).
While the consumer is connected, the current operating mode flashes in the dis-
play of the meter (depending on the limits set in chapter 8. d) for power intake
in the standby mode or in the deactivated condition):
