2. Intended Use

The energy cost meter is used to measure and analyse the power intake of
electrically operated devices. The meter is plugged between the socket and the
electrical device and does not need any further installation effort. Operation is
only permitted at a conventional outlet with a protective ground, at a mains
voltage of 230 V/AC, 50 Hz. The max. rated output must not exceed 3680 W.
The currently valid electricity tariff can be entered for cost calculation. The de-
vice also generates a cost forecast per day, week, month or year. The consump-
tion data can be displayed and set at the device independently of a power out-
let. A rechargeable battery for this is installed firmly in the device.
The meter is not officially calibrated and therefore must not be used for settle-
ment purposes.
Use is only permitted in dry, closed inner rooms. The meter must not get moist
or wet.
Read the operating instructions precisely and keep them. Only pass the product
on to any third parties together with the operating instructions. Comply with all
the safety notes and information in these instructions.
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may in-
volve additional risks such as short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of
this product must be modified or converted!
