• Connect only a single consumer to the meter's front outlet. Do not
connect several consumers at once, e.g. via a distributor outlet.
• Never cover the product in operation.
• Disconnect the product from the mains in case of extended non-use
(e.g. storage), pull it from the mains socket.
• If the product is damaged, first switch off the mains socket where
the product is connected on all poles (disconnect associated circuit
breaker or twist out the fuse, then switch off the associated FI circuit
breaker). Then pull the product from the mains outlet. No longer oper-
ate the product but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dan-
gerous toy for children.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows or
when dropped even from a low height.
• It can be assumed that harmless operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device has been stored under unsuitable conditions for an ex-
tended period of time
- if it was subjected to heavy stress during transport
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• Also observe the safety notes and operating instructions of the other
devices to which the product is connected.
