TIMER Mode
Setting the timer
Press the "MODE" button: "TIMER" and
"00:00" appear in the display.
Turn the rotary knob clockwise, to increase or decrease the time setting
(max 99 min 50 sec).
Starting the timer
Press the "SET/START/STOP" button, to start the "countdown" function.
Press the "SET/START/STOP" button to pause the countdown - press the button again to restart
the countdown.
When the timer reaches "zero", a beep is heard and the display flashes. Pressing the
"SET/START/STOP" button switches off the acoustic alarm and the last saved time is displayed.
Resetting the timer
Simply press the "TIME CLEAR" button - the timer is reset to "zero".

Setting the time
Press the "MODE" button, until the time (CLOCK) is shown in the display.
Keep the "SET/START/STOP" button pressed. The hours flash on the dis-
play. Turn the rotary knob to set the hours.
Press the "SET/START/STOP" button, and the minutes start flashing. Set
the minutes with the rotary knob.
Press the "SET/START/STOP" button, to confirm your settings and to continue to select the
12/24-hour format. Turn the rotary knob to set the format.
Then press the "SET/START/STOP" button, to confirm your settings.
Maintenance and Care
This device is maintenance-free. The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a soft,
dry cloth or a brush. Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of
the case could be damaged.
After use, always clean the sensor first in water and then dry! To do this, clean the sensor with
hot washing-up water and then dry it thoroughly to prevent the build up of bacteria.
Do not place the sensor or the device directly in the water when cleaning!
Disposal
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.

Disposal of used batteries/rechargeable batteries!

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechar-
geable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with the adjacent sym-
bol to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden.
The symbols for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb
= Lead.
You can dispose of your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at your
community's collection point or any place where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
