1. Notes on Safety

• When connecting the Temperature Indicator, make sure to
observe correct polarity (+/−) of the device. The polarity is
marked on the underside of the device, next to the connec-
ting lugs.
• According to how you are using the device, please observe
the appropriate guidelines, such as VDE regulations, regula-
tions of the Association of Employer's Liability Insurance, etc.
If you are unclear about the regulations which apply, please
consult a competent specialist.
• The device is not suitable for industrial applications.
• The device should be kept away from children.
• Please take note of the max. permissible values indicated in
the Technical Data.
• The device should not be connected to voltage sources
exceeding the protective low voltage according to VDE.

• For devices supplied from the mains it is necessary to consult
a specialist since incorrect installation constitutes a potenti-
ally fatal health hazard!

2. Regulation Use of the Device

Regulation use of the device is display of DC voltages on a cali-
brated °C scale. The DC voltage corresponds to a temperature
value arrived at by conversion via a measurement sensor.
The device is only suitable for indicating DC voltages.
