Inserting the Batteries

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batte-
ries.
• Remove the batteries if you are not using the device for a longer
period of time to prevent damage to the device by leakage. Lea-
king or damaged batteries may cause caustic burns if they come
into contact with skin.
• Therefore, use suitable protective gloves to handle damaged bat-
teries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries
lying around openly. There is a risk of them being swallowed by
children or pets.
• The batteries must not be short-circuited or thrown into a fire. Do
not attempt to recharge the batteries. Danger of explosion!
• Saved data is lost when changing the batteries.
Do not use any rechargeable batteries (1.2 Volt)! We recommend
using alkaline batteries for the basis device and lithium batteries
for the outdoor sensor.

Insert the batteries in the outside sensor (transmitter):

- Open the battery housing lid by first screwing off the upper housing part from the
lower one counter-clockwise. Then slide open the battery compartment lid in the
direction of the arrow.
- Insert two new batteries type (AA) into the battery compartment with correct pola-
rity. Please observe the polarity markings "+" and "-" inside the battery compart-
ment!
- Close the battery compartment again, in reversed order!
- Do not screw the two halves of the housing together again yet.
