12. Replacing the fuse

If the fuse requires replacement, only use a fuse of the specified type and rated current (see technical data).
It is not permitted to repair the fuse or to bypass the fuse holder.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and then disconnect the device plug from the mains inlet (8) on the device.
• Use a suitable screwdriver to carefully lift the fuse holder including the fuse (7) from the mains inlet.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the specified type.
• Then carefully reinsert the fuse holder with the new fuse into the mains inlet.
• You may only then connect the device to the mains and start operation again.
There is a replacement fuse located in the fuse holder.

13. Maintenance and cleaning

Disconnect the product from the mains socket and from all connected devices before cleaning.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solvents, as these would damage the housing
surfaces or even the sensitive laser lenses.
• Regularly check the technical safety of the laser. Check, for example, for damage to the mains cable or the housing.
• Have repairs done by experts who are familiar with the applicable regulations and the hazards involved.
• Clean the surface of the device with a soft, dry cloth or brush only.
• Do not apply too much force to the laser aperture (3) in order to avoid scratching.

14. Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
