10. Mains connection
• Connect the device plug of the mains cable to the mains inlet (8) on the device.
• Connect the mains plug of the mains cable to an isolated ground receptacle.
• Use the mains switch (6) to turn the power supply to the laser on or off.
- I position: power supply turned on
- O position: power supply turned off
• When power supply is turned on, the POWER indicator lamp (16) on the front of the device lights up.
• In order to activate the laser and to release the laser beam, two conditions must be met:
- Safety interlock deactivated (contacts at the REMOTE interface (5) are open)
- LOCK key switch (4) turned on (ON position)

11. Operation

The laser safety officer appointed by the operator must be present and control and monitor the operation
during each use of the laser device.
a) Switching laser on or off
The following conditions must be met in order to switch on the laser effect:
• The mains switch (6) must be turned on (I position).
• The safety interlock connected to the REMOTE interface (5) must be deactivated (contact open).
• The LOCK key switch (4) must be at ON position.
• Turn off the device after use. In order to do so, set the LOCK key switch to OFF position and remove it, and then turn off
the mains switch (O position).
When the laser is not in use, remove the key from the LOCK key switch. Keep it at a safe place in order to
avoid unauthorized operation of the device.
Also disconnect the device from the mains supply when not in use (pull the mains plug).
Avoid unauthorized operation at all costs.
Use the LED display (14) and the FUNC, UP, DOWN and ENTER buttons (12) to select the operating mode:
• Use FUNC button to navigate through the main menu.
• Use UP and DOWN buttons to change operating mode, microphone sensitivity or DMX address.
• Use ENTER button to confirm your settings.
b) Automatic operation
• Press FUNC button until one of the following messages starts flashing in the LED display: AUN, Sod, AUd, SoP, AUP,
SoN.
• Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select one of the three automatic operating modes:
- AUN: combination of patterned and grating effects
- AUd: grating effects
- AUP: patterned effects
• Confirm your selection by pressing ENTER.
• The laser then operates automatically and projects the set laser patterns.
