* Pour les piles rondes de 4000 ou 5000 mAh, la charge prend deux
cycles de charge de 8 heures chacun.
Les diodes électroluminescentes rouges correspondantes brillent
pendant l'opération de charge. Au bout d'env. 5 heures pour les
accus au NiCd ou 8 heures pour les accus au NiMH, en fonction de
la capacité nominale des accus, les diodes électroluminescentes
rouges correspondantes s'éteignent. Le bac correspondant passe
d'une charge active à une charge de compensation.
Vous pouvez laisser les accus dans le chargeur jusqu'à ce que vous
en ayez besoin ou les retirer tout de suite.
Attention !
Veillez impérativement à ce que le chargeur soit suffisamment
aéré et n'obstruez jamais les fentes d'aération se trouvant sur les
faces supérieure et inférieure de l'appareil pour éviter d'éventuels
dommages.
Dans le cas d'un maniement ou d'une sélection incorrects (des
courants de charge trop élevés ou inversion des pôles) l'accumu-
lateur sera surchargé et détérioré. L'accumulateur peut, dans le
pire des cas, exploser et provoquer de graves dommages.

b) Charging round batteries
Round cells denote the most commonly used battery types AAA,
AA, D and C. Insert the batteries to charged in the charging chan-
nel(s) and observe the correct polarity. Pull the rear contact spring =
negative contact slightly backwards. Make sure not to mistakenly
mix different batteries (different technologies "NiCdNiMH"). Make
sure that the batteries or rather their terminals are free of oxidisati-
on. The batteries are to fit tightly in the battery channel and not obli-
que to assure safe contact.

The corresponding red LEDs light to indicated the loading status.
After approx. 5 hours for NiCd batteries and after 8 hours for NiMH
batteries the corresponding red LEDs go off depending on the
capacity of the batteries. The corresponding charging channel is
switched over to trickle charge.
The batteries can now remain in the charging device until you are
using them without the risk of overcharging. You may, however,
also take the batteries out immediately.
